Yale’s Critical Islamic Reflections Committee’s 9th Annual Conference: Yale's Critical Islamic Reflections Committee would like to invite you to attend its 9th Annual Conference, which will take place on April 10, 2010 in William L. Harkness Hall, Wall St, New Haven, CT from 10 am to 7pm.

This year's conference showcases the latest research by distinguished and promising scholars of the humanities and social sciences on the subject of 'The (Muslim) Woman Question: Competing Representations, Contested Futures.' Based on selections from over 170
worldwide submissions, this interdisciplinary forum will explore the politics of representation vis-à-vis women and gender in Islam and interrogate how representations of and by Muslim women may influence political futures. Please join us as colleagues, friends, and allies for this important intellectual, political, and communal event. Please
visit http://www.yale.edu/cir/program.html for a copy of the program and to register.
