Playwright and performance artist Maria Elena Fernandez will be performing her one-woman play," Confessions of a Cha-Cha Feminist" on Tuesday, April 6th at 7:00pm at the Saybrook Underbrook. Mrs. Fernandez graduated from Yale with a B.A. in American Studies with a concentration in ethnic studies in 1987. Her play is a hilarious presentation of the experiences of a young Latina woman going to Yale after graduating from a Catholic, all-girls high school.

There will also be a reception (with SNACKS) following the performance where you will get to mingle with the artist herself.
