"As part of its annual Asian American Film Festival, the AACC is proud to screen the film Songs of a Sorrowful Man by directors Lina Fruzzetti, Akos Ostor and Aditi Nath Sakar on Thursday, April 1st. This is a touching and poignant documentary that touches upon many issues, including cultural change, gender inequality, and religion.
The AACC will be hosting a special dinner for the directors at Zaroka restaurant around 5:30 pm. Then, later in the evening, the directors will attend the screening of Songs of a Sorrowful Man, a 34-minute film, at the Whitney Humanities Center at 7PM and then hold a question and answer session afterwards, where samosas will be provided. If you are interesting in attending the dinner (free of cost, but we only have space for less than ten Yalies!), then please RSVP to rohit.thummalapalli@yale.edu."
